Global Academy of Information and Management Studies offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or enrolling in our courses/ purchasing something from us, you engage in our 'Service' and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ('Terms of Service', 'Terms'), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink, if any. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

SECTION 1 - ONLINE EDUCATION & TRAINING TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services/ Associations/ Enrollment.

SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any enrollment you submit to us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel courses purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed/enrollments submitted by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing address. In the event of a modification or cancellation of enrollment, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the email address or contact number provided during the enrollment process. We retain the right to restrict or prohibit enrollments that, in our sole judgment, appear to be made by unauthorized individuals, resellers, or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment and account information for all enrollments submitted at our Academy. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

SECTION 7 - OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input.

You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools 'as is' and 'as available' without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.

Any use by you of optional tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which tools are provided by the relevant third-party provider(s).

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Global Academy of Information and Management Studies and our partner university, subsidiaries, affiliates, partner institutions, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

SECTION 15 - SEVERABILITY

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

SECTION 16 - TERMINATION

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.

Please note that any Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, and Doctorate scholars enrolled in our academy are expected to maintain active communication with us. This includes promptly responding to our calls, emails, and any other relevant forms of communication. Additionally, scholars are required to demonstrate continuous engagement and progress in their chosen course or research.

In the event that, in our reasonable opinion, a scholar fails to adequately respond to our academy's requests, notifications, or fails to exhibit satisfactory progress in their studies, we reserve the right to terminate their enrollment. It is essential to understand that such termination will result in the forfeiture of all fees paid by the student, and no refunds will be provided.

By enrolling in our academy, scholars acknowledge and agree that maintaining open and consistent communication with the institution is a crucial aspect of their academic journey. Failure to do so may result in the termination of their enrollment without the possibility of reimbursement.

Scholars have the right to discontinue their association with our Academy at any time. To initiate termination, Scholars may send a discontinuation email or quitting the course mail. Please note that upon receipt of such communication, the agreement between the Scholar and the Academy will be terminated.However, it is essential for Scholars to understand that termination of the agreement does not entitle them to claim refunds for any fees that have already been paid for the services availed until the point of termination.

If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).

It is important for scholars to understand their responsibilities and obligations as students of our academy. We strongly encourage all students to carefully review and comply with these terms and conditions to ensure a successful and rewarding educational experience.

SECTION 17 - Complimentary Convocation Services:

Eligibility for Complimentary Services:

• The academy provides complimentary round trip flight tickets and VISA charges to Paris, France, exclusively to students who have paid the full course fees.
• Complimentary services will not be available to students who have availed scholarships, discounts, or any other form of financial assistance, unless the full course fees have been paid.

Minimum Participation Requirement:

• The academy will conduct the convocation (graduation ceremony) in Paris, France, only when there are a minimum of 15 eligible scholars who have paid their full course fees, sucessfully completed the courses and confirmed their participation.
• In the event that the minimum participation requirement is not met, the academy reserves the right to postpone or cancel the convocation in Paris, France.

Expedited Convocation Option:

• Scholars who wish to have their convocation organized promptly can do so by bearing the expenses (except travel and visa) to attend any other convocation event organized by the University in locations near India, such as Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, or any other designated location.
• The academy will facilitate the necessary arrangements and coordination for scholars opting for the expedited convocation option and the academy will also bear the expenses of roundtrip flight cost and visa expenses. Any other associated costs including food, local transport abroad, accommodation etc., will be borne by the individual scholar.

Confirmation and Coordination:

• Scholars who qualify for the complimentary convocation services in Paris, France, will receive detailed instructions and guidelines from the academy regarding the confirmation process and coordination of travel arrangements.
• It is the responsibility of the eligible scholars to promptly provide the necessary information and documents to facilitate a seamless arrangement for the convocation.

Changes and Cancellations:

• The academy reserves the right to make changes to the convocation schedule, location, or any related arrangements, if deemed necessary. In such cases, scholars will be notified in advance.
• In the event of unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond the academy's control, the convocation may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling. The academy will make every reasonable effort to inform the affected scholars promptly and explore suitable alternatives.

Acknowledgment of Terms:

• By availing the complimentary convocation services, scholars acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety.
• Scholars are encouraged to seek clarifications or further information from the academy regarding any aspect of the convocation services before confirming their participation

SECTION 18 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site or in respect to The Service constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).

Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service shall not be construed against the drafting party.

SECTION 19 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you educational services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and jurisdiction of Bangalore, Karnataka.
